It's troubling to see how many students these days have completely zero school pride. They don't feel about their school, they don't engage in activities, and they just seem uninterested. It's like they've forgotten what it means to be part of a group and support their fellow students. This lack of passion is negative to the entire school environment.

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! I'm struggling to adjust it, but it still feels tight. Maybe my head is just not meant for this. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes match your needs.

This Isn't My Old School
When I see the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't spark feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a vague concept. Maybe because my experience there were not like others, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to look back. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't hold the same weight for me as it does for others.
It's not that I regret my time at school. It was a time of learning, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.
Perhaps it's because I made my passions outside the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are centered around unique experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

The realm doesn't understand that I exude a different here shade. They stare with curiosity as I display the fact of my being. My life force is a symbol of {somethingelse that they can't grasp. They categorize me as abnormal, but I am simply special.
Spirit Week? Sounds Like Work
Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing school swag and chanting slogans. Just let me learn and be
- My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. They can keep their traditions.

Just Here for the Snacks
Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me chips and dip any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
